Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Fair Housing Committee

Welcome to new chair, Jose Larios. Here is the Meeting Agenda. Jose also asks you to read through the Field Guide to Fair Housing that we created last year to discuss wider adoption. Finally, we will think about the Board of Director's Strategic Initiatives during our goal setting (below). Jose has also added a 'Community Voices' section to each meeting where we invite 2 individuals to share their thoughts on item's D and E of our strategic plan. Those guests are identified in the attached agenda.

a.       Educate agents and empower brokerages to address fair housing standards and compliance.

b.       Ensure fair and inclusive engagement exists for all who seek it within the association.

c.       Promote opportunities for a diverse membership and leadership.

d.       Examine and educate on barriers to housing in Berkshire County and identify possible solutions

e.       Identify groups, initiatives and people to collaborate with to promote housing equity in Berkshire County.
