Michael Nuvallie joined the agency in 1985 that was started by his father, Joseph Nuvallie, in 1972. Mike took over operations as the principal broker in 1992, and has expanded operations in VT and NY, as well as being an approved registered broker for both HUD and Fannie-Mae foreclosures. A true independent agency, services are offered to both sellers and buyers.  Mike works full time since 1987 for the City of North Adams, MA as the Director of the Office of Community Development where he write grants and secures millions of dollars annually to do all types of public real estate projects, infrastructure, economic development along with a myriad of other initiatives. He is also the proprietor of his own housing, community and economic development consulting firm since 1988, Community Building Blocks, and has worked for federal government and many municipalities in Berkshire County specializing within housing rehabilitation programs and lead abatement.

He has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the School of Business Administration, now the Isenberg School of Management, as well as a minor in Economics from UMass/Amherst, 1984. In 2002 he obtained a professional executive certification in Housing & Community Development from the University of MD at College Park.  He also received asbestos training from Tufts University, as well as teaching introductory level courses in both macroeconomics and microeconomics at Southern Vermont College in Bennington.

Mike is also MA certified to teach real estate courses for both general and continuing education.  He is also a certified Notary Public.
